Every pattern that limits your leadership follows the same loop. We interrupt it at the source.

Resistance

Something happens — a difficult email, a board question, a comment from your partner. Before you're even aware, your body tightens. Jaw. Shoulders. Chest. This is your nervous system bracing. We learn to notice it in real time.

Reaction

The resistance triggers a secondary emotion — anger, withdrawal, over-functioning, control. It feels like "you," but it's a pattern. We learn to distinguish your primary emotion (what's actually there) from the reaction layered on top.

R.E.L.A.X.

With practice, you learn to stay with what's actually happening — without the story, the fix, or the escape. The tension completes its cycle. What's left is clarity, choice, and an entirely different quality of presence.

Is this therapy?

No. Therapy typically focuses on understanding your past and processing psychological patterns through conversation. Somatic inquiry works directly with your nervous system and body — the patterns that run underneath your thoughts. Many clients do both, and find they're complementary. But this is a distinct modality focused on embodied change, not talk-based insight.

Is this "woo"?

I get it. The somatic space can be full of vague language and abstract promises. My approach is grounded in nervous system science and designed for people who value specificity. You'll track measurable shifts — sleep quality, reactivity frequency, physical tension patterns, decision-making clarity. If something isn't working, we adjust. No crystals, no chanting, no trust falls.

I don't have time for this.

The program is one 60-minute session per week, plus a 10-minute daily practice. That's less time than you spend in most recurring meetings. And honestly — the time you're losing to poor sleep, reactive decisions, and relationship friction far exceeds that investment. This isn't adding to your schedule. It's upgrading how you move through it.

How is this different from executive coaching?

Executive coaching typically works at the level of strategy, mindset, and behavior. Somatic inquiry works at the level of your nervous system — the layer underneath your strategies and behaviors. Most exec coaching helps you build better frameworks for thinking. This helps you change the physiological patterns that hijack your thinking in the first place. Different layer, different results.
